Jin Gasu aka Grandpa/Elder Han is an old man sweeper that Noh met in the Heavenly Dragon Association
Often when drinking he would tell the stories of how he attempted to put the whole world under his feet and his great battles against the great murim figures, tales everyone took as creations of his mind. He takes a liking to the triplets and acts like a grandparent figure for them and also later as a teacher.
In reality all those things he talked about actually happened in his years of service to the Empire, for Jin Gasu was the one in charge of all affairs related to Murim and was second in authority to the Emperor himself. Now he lives as a simple man looking to pass on his arts to someone else.

As the leader of the privy council, he served during the same time as the administrator was still growing into a power of his own, supervising him and his friend Daewon on their adventures. He affectionatly refers to him as his father and his son refers to him as a grandfather even though they have no family relations. In his later years he retires to the Heavenly Dragon Association as the great work of diminishing Murim has been accomplished, refusing any of the power of his former position and only getting involved when it personally matters to him.

Trivia[]
- He is the protagonist of the second novel set in the same world (third if we consider Red Storm that shares the same universe) writen by the author of Peerless Dad, Pojol Jin Gasu. The novel is about Jin Gasu a military/police officer (포졸) of the Podocheong(포도청).
- After Learning from The record of the Heavenly Establishment he became one of the greatest masters of all time.
