- In the novel is revealed that he didn't teached Maksoo the complete water clan tecnique so he wouldn't become a demon god.
- The name Shim Sa Sook(심사숙) can mean Uncle Shim so as per indicated in chapter 151 his name is probably Shim Yeok Sah (심역사, lit. The all powerfull Shim).
